Membership Signup, Renew or Donate
Membership allows you free admission to the regular SFPS meeting plant auctions, garden tours and the holiday party. Corporate membership allows 2 officers and 6 guests of the corporation to attend any SFPS function at no charge.
Membership helps support our Society with activities such as the general meetings, garden tours and palm sales. We also contribute to botanical gardens, such a Montgomery Botanical Center and work with UM to diversity and extend their collection of palms.
In 2026, we donated $15,000 to Montgomery Botanic Center to support their Plant Exploration fund. This donation was matched 100% by Dr. Lin Lougheed, so a total of $30,000 was contributed. Thanks goes to all the members and growers at our plant sales, who contribute so much!
A one year membership is valid for 12 months. Similarly, 2 and 3 year memberships are valid for 24 and 36 months. For example, a membership payment received on June 1, 2025 is valid to the end of June 2026. Lifetime membership can be signed up online for $500.00.
